Education and Training Executive with extensive curriculum development skills, with over sixteen years of experience providing vocationally oriented training to both domestic and international students across the spectrum of learning disciplines.
I have over 12 years of international marketing experience and am currently marketing director for a successful international college based in Perth, Western Australia. Throughout my years in marketing, I have driven both the creative and technical elements of marketing and management initiatives.
What people say about me:
Very passionate, go-getter, nothing is impossible, generous and enthusiastic.
Originally I studied to be a primary school teacher, specialising in English and Society and Environment. After completing my Bachelor degree I lived and worked in South America, which allowed me to find my passion in teaching ESL. After returning to Australia, and having found the area that I loved to work in, I completed further studies including CELTA and a Post Graduate Certificate in TESOL, which allowed me to continue TESOL work in Australia. I am now studying Psychology to allow me to further support the students I work with.
In my time as an ESL teacher, I have taught in both the Certificate of Spoken and Written English (CSWE) and ELICOS curriculum across all levels. I was invited to join KCBT as the English Coordinator in October 2017, a team I am grateful to be a part of.
My favourite part of this job is the amazing people I get to spend my time with. I have heard so many incredible stories and am lucky to have been able to listen and learn so much about the people and world around me. I look forward to hearing many more fun and amazing stories.
